[Metal Gear Awesome Three]

annoying but not a great flash troll movie

There is plenty to mock in egoraptor's movies and the fact you didn't pull out all the stops to piss off ego's fanbase caused me to subtract points.

The art itself is beautifully done but it the whole movie only lasted what felt like two seconds.

Your going to piss these kids off no what you do so why not really unleash all hell on those little bastards?

There is plenty to pick apart in all of egoraptor's work and the fact you cut your movie short is a good trolling method but it lacked speaker busting noises and strobe lights.

You got the reactions you wanted but you can easily make fanboys even more mad just by offering up valid criticism, offensive humor, bad sound, strobe lights in the right places in fact this wasn't even an assault on all the senses.

It's surprising that fanboy response was so over overwhelmingly negative since you could have easily made much better trolling movie.

It's one of the most bland trolling submissions i ever seen since it lacked all the elements to become an all around assault.

This is more of a light punch where the fan boys will get mad but than they'll forget about it.

I'm surprised that they can still track this down and while this is not the ultimate troll submission that i was hoping for.

It still works as a harmless prank that doesn't hurt the eyes or eyes yet causes the same reactions in egoraptor fans as if it does.

as i said no matter what you do. they will all still get pissed so you might as well have gone all out.

[The SS Intro Anthology]

I really miss the old star syndicate a whole lot

There was a lot pressure to shit out of any form of animation you can as fast as possible.

The fact that both some really genuinely humorous works, serious works, ect was nothing short of amazing even while it sometimes meant annoying people rushed out works daily.

Without the star syndicate a lot of people would not have had a chance to improve there craft and move on to be more successful in the future.

The introductions are just a small sample of the different individuals talents within the star syndicate.

It was dishonest to include those intros in some of the ss collabs because the intro was ussually better than the actual movies in the collection.

But sometimes there were movies in there just as good if not better than the in intros but were over shadowed by the bad movies.

It's easy to point out the bad stuff but much more difficult to point out things you like in bad movies.

The bad star syndicate movies were hilarious and there good movies were interesting too but not always equally funny.

Unlike other flash groups the star syndicate was open to including movies/games from non members in the collabs regardless of skill level.

It was extremely refreshing at the time when compared to the elitism of both other flash groups and the usual newgrounds collab.

You can still see the star syndicate influence to this day within other flash groups and other animators.

If the ss wasn't so lazy to do something else besides keep to themselves and talk on there fourm than i will be more than happy to welcome them back to the portal with open arms.

Come back, star syndicate we miss you.

[Silent Hill Menu]

while a good menu it can still use more polish

The animation loop within the menu needs to be much longer and you obviously need more options for things like bonus features such as both the standard stuff such as deleted scenes, behind the scenes stuff, trailers, audio commentary and what ever else your imagination will allow.

If your feeling lazy than you can easily change your menu to fit a collection for different silent hill themed movies and you can ask friends or whoever else you can bother to help out.

Don't even be shy about asking popular artists since most of them are nice enough to help out free of charge as long as there not too busy or interested in your project.

Never be shy about asking others for help when you need it or take your time to finish your works on your own.

It don't matter if you finish your works by teaming up with other animators or going alone.

all it matters is that you don't show it off before it's a complete work or otherwise you'll end up ignoring a potentially good project and move on to other projects too soon.

as a complete work it is terrible but as an unfinished work it is extremely strong and has some real potential.

In some strange way i find it interesting to see shelved projects because it shows both the creator of said works ambition and evidential burn out.

[The Mummy's Tomb]

Odd little movie you got here

This is perhaps one of the strangest movies i ever seen on newgrounds and shows a lot of creative energy.

I personally think the score should be a little higher or at least this piece of work should get much more exposure.

The animated effect of making it look like a video while easy to do adds a subtle touch and does make it look more polished to the average viewer that doesn't even bother with flash.

This can easily work as a game but the fact it's a movie instead makes this piece of work even more interesting perhaps even experimental since it plays with your expectations.

I would be interested in maybe looking into your other works in the near future.

Ambitious but it could be better

I won't lie the movie is terrible because it feels unfinished and even as an unfinished work it is not passable.

All you really needed is sound and perhaps making it longer to really suck you in.

Newgrounds filesize limit is about 10 megs so this gives you plenty of chances to keep adding to it until you have a suitable start, middle and end.

You got the start already but this would only work as a preview of a work in progress.

I often rush my work and want to show it off as soon as possible and that's all well in good but we all want a finished product.

Don't give up and keep at it because your first attempt looks to be so much better than most anyone elses first attempts.

The Master approves and so does the worm

an effective smear campaign and unfortunately everyword of it is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Alvin earthworm is nothing special in fact he only makes these bellow mediocre sprite movies already done a million times over by much more talented thieves.

There are almost millions of sprite movies done way better than marioballz but it only stands out because it has a strange title rather than it being any good.

Certainly a combo of mario and dragonballz will stand out but it is in noway original or in the least imaginative.

The combination of pre existing copyrighted creative endeavors with already established fanbases insures the success of those shitty movies regardless of quality.

There basically fanfilms but only they actually get sponsored on newgrounds instead a far superior piece of work but i have accepted this as the norm and ussually ignore popular culture for this reason.

Since you find true happiness in actually searching out those better movies with your best effort forward.

The whole collab itself is a great way to piss off the very same fanbase of alvin earthworm.

His fanbase for the most part is the exact opposite of intelligent people just look at there foolish reviews of screams of epic win and other forms of internet speak.

There might be an intelligent fan in there but it is overwhelmed but the babble from the more stupid parts.

Genderless hooker's part was on of many of my personal favorite parts in the entire collab.

I would have compressed the collab's filesize to leave room for many more parts since there is a lot to work with here.

Nothing that i would call great but it was entertaining none the less.

Snawsball your a man of many talents

I've always gotten a kick out of drawing style it actually one of the few distinct drawing styles on this very website.

The movie itself could have been a little bit longer since there seems to be more stuff screaming to get out.

The great thing about snawsball is that he is man without compromise, a man of ingenuity and most of all a man of integrity.

He shown us the in justice of websites that fail teach would be terrorists how to properly wire bombs.

The columbine kids only wanted to blow up there school to protect the world against the evil contained columbine high school.

The high school undead inhabits columbine high and unforentually the zombies bit cho and caused virginia tech.

In otherwords a fine addition to the columbine collab.

Great and highly orignal but drop the cliches.

The graphics looked cool and frankly were amazing but on the other hand the storyline was rather subpar because of all the cliches tossed into this movie.

but to be fair it was much more original than the average newgrounds movie and it pains me to say this stuff because while it looked cool and the premise was highly original it still had a few bad movie cliches in there such as the grand father telling there kid the movies storyline for example.

You put all this effort into fine tuning the graphics so why not take even more extra to fine tune the story some more to iron out all the cliches because you obviously have an imagination.

In closing way above average using newgrounds standards in fact i wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in the top 50 of all times but i still think the writing could have been better.

[Syndication Ep. 1]

This is basically dailytoons under a new name

This is very good and even the small bit of shitty parts were interesting to see in there as well.

I just watched it as a playall button and it worked so well as a collective movie rather than viewing each and everyone of them by themselves.

This is basically a lot like an expermental film to me and to be honest i'm shocked that you all bothered to make anything at all because from what i seen of the ss fourms most of you just sit there and talk at your fourms.

This is quite the ambitious endeavor but i would recommend scraping the intro on episode 2 so that it doesn't end up becoming formulaic.

I've seen past dailytoon seasons reuse the same intro over and over again and frankly it gets a little boring.

I understand all the effort that goes into making it but the reason the dailytoons were so successful and remain successful even now is because it has constant variety and deviant from formulas of what everyone is doing.

You have every right to reuse the intro all you want but in my opinion recycling the same intro no matter how good will change into mediocrity due to predictably.

mediocre is a commonly misused word in a lot of reviews because when i see it applied they really mean your bellow average.

Mediocre just doesn't really work as an insult nor does it work as praise since it is only meeting your audiences expectations.

But this is only an intro and i can take it or leave it but everything else such as the collection of movies actually exceeded my expectations.

I was honestly only expecting a lot of goofy spam but it was actually only a little bit of goofy spam mixed with different types of creations in different styles there was even some photography in there.

I would like to see more people using these dailytoons as a chance to improve there craft such as the different animaters and especially the photographer because while it was beautifully shot footage there is still room for improvements for any kind of craftsmenship.

I would be interested in seeing another mixed bag of flash animation, traditional animation, film, video, digtial, whatever because it gives exposure to talented people but on the down side it gives exposure to talentless hacks as well but you have to take the good with the bad to get the great.

[Pokemon Master EP 19]

Pokemon masters should have been more like this.

The real pokemon master episodes should have been stuff like this rather than excuses to toss 4chan memes around.

It's stupid but it works plan and simple because of the catchy song and humorous drawings in fact a lot of submissions are praised a little too much because of catchy songs and funny drawings but here both the reviews and scores reflect the actual quality of the submission.

Most people don't realize that spam is a genre and that can be just as bad or good as any legit submission.

This in of itself is a spam submission but most of the drawings match the pokemon cartoon itself but with subtle unique touches from the author of the submission himself.

You don't even need to see pokemon masters to see the humor here but it does enhance it making it even funnier.

Pokemon masters should have been stuff like this movies but a series of silly pokemon themed skits that stand out on there own holds more appeal to me than a series of crappy sprite movies.
